There were more Am. flags that went by then I have ever seen in one place. Comment #2: Ruthie has always been in the parade, not watching from the side ... and Kona is not afraid of getting hit with candy... put the two together and you have Ruthie trying to pick up as many pieces of candy as her two hands would hold - and then trying so hard to figure out how she was going to pick up the pieces that were still left on the ground. Comment #3: The most interesting and entertaining entry I have ever seen in a parade were skateboarders. They brought their own ramp and not unlike the shriners, set down their ramp and took turns jumping off for a few minutes, then they picked up their ramp and skated it down the block and started in again! It was so cool. And there were A LOT of skateboarders, and a huge age span, the youngest looked about 5 ... oldest through late 30's, maybe older!
PS: there was not one single B.O. sticker, sign, or entry in the parade. hmmmm.
