I decided that in the wild case I get the kids in the car ... and then notice their teeth have not been brushed, I'll keep these battery operated toothbrushes in the car ... and if we're late getting to our final destination, I'll be saving time by having them brush their own teeth ... all the way to church.



Soccer practice updates:










Practice in the late August heat at 5pm brings out temps in the 90s, and we've even had a couple in the 100 degree range. C is a trooper and has consumed a lot of water, with very little complaining!!








This bucket stance with a major power tool cannot be the safest way to approach cutting concrete. If you zoom you might be able to see the bucket is a few feet off the ground and Joel appears to be teetering on the edge. All is well that ends well ... the wall is down, no major injuries, and the project continues to move forward! (and it didn't even catch fire this weekend, although we had the evacuation treasures stacked up and loaded into boxes, in case we were the next to be "voluntarily evacuated" ...
