I don't think this is what Colton was referring to when we stepped foot off the plane and he asked "WHERE ARE THE HULA GIRLS??" (yes, he asked that loud).
Our bathing beauty.
Colton has mastered the tube ... we hope to work on swimming skills while we're here!
Swimming pool pony tail.
The usual food struggles with Colton (and the usual non-struggle with Ruthie - who in the background is celebrating her pizza).

Me still battling the phantom flu (negative flu swab, clean blood, clear bill of health from the dr, yet 102 temp peaks daily without any other symptoms). Good news: the episodes aren't coming as frequently. Bad news: they are consistent at least once every night which really puts a damper on a good nights sleep. Also causes an occasional headache, as demonstrated here:
It didn't even occur to me until we were in the car headed to the airport that I might need to check the charge on the dvd player. It lasted about 20 minutes and died. Thank goodness we had other tricks in the bag!...

And 2 videos:
Colton's first scooter ride of the year
And Colton's fine demonstration of his "boy-ness." Who knew you could do The Name Game song with the word patootie... he believes (as does a running Stranz family tradition) that the word patootie refers to one's buns. I'm very happy to report, though, that the dictionary(.com) definition reads "sweetheart, pretty girl" (which makes the phrase sweet patootie a lot more reasonable)....
