PS: crank up those sappy love songs for a few days
Our kitty is so good with Ruthie (maybe it's because Ruthie happens to be a little more - uh - gentle and loving with cats) ...
Colton looks forward to 2 things during the week:
1. Movie Day (Friday - it's like an all you can eat buffet, only it's about watching movies ... and the rest of the week we fast (on movies)
2. Sleeping in Mommy & Daddy's bed on Thursday ... this so happens to be for 2 reasons - Jared generally falls asleep in the recliner at night which puts a kink in the neck, Thursday he falls asleep much more comfortably -in bed. Also, this is my tv night (Greys and ER) ... so they are both asleep long before I crawl into bed. But you can see (above) exactly why one night a week is all we can do ... (they started with their heads at the same end of the bed)
We are glad to be over the worst of a yucky cold ... Ruthie got it on Monday and by Wednesday, Colton, Jared and I all had it in full swing. Hello weekend, goodbye sickness ...
And our new hobby - geo.caching. We got a handheld GPS unit for Christmas and are excited for more "treasue hunting" as the kids refer to it.
